we had them at Supermercado Garcia in Cabrera ... they not always there.

as in many other cases, the wine had gone slightly off.

hahahaha... Mainegal, hilarious.... never heard that one.

Seriously, the box wine people gave up advertising..... was useless.
they now do it like Tupperware... at home tasting parties....

and the box wines come out very well, to the surprise of many tasters.
really well, actually

I'll b doing one in Rio San Juan in the near future

Thanks. We drink between the three of us 2 bottles a day, getting tired of the empty bottles and the weekly bill of course..

Jeanette has them now, italian, 1 liter. The white needs a lot of ice and the red... tasteful food so you won't taste the wine.

Super Polo in LT has boxed wine. It was from Spain. Gawd awful, undrinkable.
I do drink it in Canada on occasion but never again in the DR unless I recognize the brand.

Reminds me of the time when I went into a high end French restaurant and my friend asked the waiter if they had a good jug wine. That was before the box wines came into existence or who would have asked to see the box.
