I don't know where to put this!

I had the incredible honor and delight of knowing Mr. and Mrs. de la Renta when I worked at The New York Public Library. Mr. delaR LOVED New York, but he was in love with Annette and the DR. May his memory be for a blessing always, and I hope that Dominicans understand what an incredible honor for a countryman to receive in Los Estados Unidos!

Bloomberg shared that de la Renta had taught him “how to make my Spanish sound more Dominican” :laugh:
