I have not been up past the memorial in several months, but the last time I was there, it was a disgrace. The community has let it become an overgrown jungle. We mentioned at the time that not to care for it is to honor someone, then insult him. I certainly hope someone takes the lead and organizes a group to make the place nice again. I don't have the time or authority to organize this, but I certainly would take time to help. Herman Strauss was a great man. Sosua lost an icon.

Now there is a memorial park at Playa Alicia and this other is forgotten. I believe it was a memorial to the suffering of kristallnacht. Their decision to let it go.
