Did anyone else watch Danilo's speech today?  

Thoughts or comments?  

I bet there was electricity in every corner of DR today, so everyone could watch or listen.

Unlike past years, there was not that much play of it here in my barrio within San Pedro de Macoris. I can tell you from year's past, that you couldn't walk out of your house without hearing radios playing the speech in every corner. Not so today. I don't know why. I did have it on in my house for people passing to listen to. The motoconchos on my corner were very happy.

Guess it sounded like a tragic comedia. Hollywood worthy.
Really amused myself.
Only got a little irritated when all his “tumba polvos and lambones” applauded all the time even when he drunk a bit of water.

isn't every politician in every country ...overloaded with **** ...trying to tell you what you want to hear and doing absolutely nothing to earn either their salarys or anyones respect
just trying to get as much out of the trough as they can
