Don't get it, as the DR is full of willing, adult women, and chasing after kids is an abomination. That said, understanding isn't necessary. They need to lock him away.

Sosua is not a big town. He was going around with 13year olds and has to have been known. For crying out loud act in unison and unmask these sh** holes before they destroy your community with so many such stories over the last year on the NC.

Demand proof of age (cedula) at entry to all bars, discos and hotels which is a very easy first step as a community to demand.

its not just a simple sex crime. Male sexual attraction to children is a complicated mental illness. Combination of factors make it possible in the DR. women are not equally valued. Macho culture allows physical abuse of women. Parents often facilitate the abuse. Sad nasty aspect of DR. This guy will not be out and about for a long time. That's the only good here good. Others had to know or been suspicious and never said anything. Be good if the news printed this creeps picture

Are you kidding me? This town is filled with pedophiles. A lot of the girls have there older sisters cedula. Probably a lot of old geezers on this site have wives / girlfriends that are 20- 30 years younger. HAHA....there will never be a round up of these old wrinkly, disgusting, slime balls, that brag about there conquests while popping blue pills.

Of course he could be innocent and ****ed off a local family who made up the charges - A couple years ago I met a guy from Belgium, about 40 years old, who had just been let out of a locked room after being held a week by the family of his Dominican girlfriend - because he wouldn't loan them money - I'm sure I'm not the only one to hear of similar shakedowns.

Be careful who you let into your circle of friends.

They don't need to wait. When he leaves the DR jails they pick him up and bring him to the US to face charges. He will probably not have a pleasant stay in the DR.

It is possible for a 16 year old to have a cedula. It is called a Cedula de Menores de Edad . Check the birth date as well.
