Slide outta the guagua at Janet's Grocery and walk toward the beach. You'll find several nice places down that way, I don't remember the names, nor the prices, but I liked the 3 I stayed at when I first reached the North Coast in 2011.

I would agree with Velero, El Magnifico or Millennium if you are prepared to pay top dollar on the beach. I have very good apartments available for a much more economical price, but about ten minutes walk from the beach and main street.

How about Villa Taino? nice place, smallish pool, great palapa bar, with free chairs on beach and a restaurant. Close to center of Cabarete. Very good location. NO parking really. Great staff.
