American Airlines will be flying from New York JFK airport directly to the Cibao Airport in Santiago starting June 15, 2002 using a 251 passenger wide-body aircraft.
At last a way to get to Santiago directly from New York!!

Hi, Martin. Thanks for sharing this great news with us. At last I'll be able tlo walk from the Airport home. You see, my step-mother lives in Licey and when I travel to DR, I stay with her. Tell, me how about fares for June and July. AA is out-of-this-world. What do you know about other Airline's fare. I'll be going to DR in July.

New York JFK to Punta Cana = Increase from 0 to 4 flights a week on 15Jun02.
New York JFK to Santiago Dom Rep = Increase from 0 to 1 flight a day on 15Jun02

AA will also launch a daily flight from Miami to Santiago with a 737-800 and reinstate a seasonal, summer-only Boston-Santo Domingo non-stop with a 757.

I am so happy. I'm going to check fares right now to Punta Cana from NY. Hopefully they won't be too outrageous!!
