This subject has been beaten to death almost. But what if one were to buy a wrecked car and import it, would aduana use the actual value of the damaged vehicle? We are looking at a 2014 Kia Soul with both headlights knocked out in a rear end collision. The Kia did the rear ending. The price is $7200 as it sits. Worth twice that all fixed up which can be done in the USA for $5000.
Thanks for any input.

Yes it has.....and the answer is still the same. NO salvage vehicles or vehicles with salvage titles can be imported into the DR.
