What is the cheapest courier company for shipping heavy packages from eBay and Amazon? Do not want to pay $100 for 20 lb package when in no hurry.

Each shipment would need to be quoted by a door to door shipper out of NY or Fl because the price of the items, and sometimes what they are, also matter.

if you ship a lot of items you can negotiate the price per pound with your courier. other than this, what winde said. some mudanza guys have flat rates for boxes but it only refers to miscellaneous stuff like food, items of clothing, some cosmetics and such. they will have a different rate if your box is to contain a single electronic item, for example.

If I recall correctly, CPS's maritime rate was about 50-60% of their air rate - you use their alternate US address and it goes via ship container automatically.

That seems to be about right for EPS as well. But when shipping multiple items in a box, you have to keep the total under $200 US or duties could be added to that.

Shipping by boat with EPS or Encargo pac, the price is roughly 33% of the item price. Takes longer but much cheaper. I just brought in a manual lawnmower weighing 26 pounds and shipping was 1300 pesos through Encargo pac.

One question to ask is when or how often the ship sails.....

If infrequently, the delivery can be a long wait.

The NYC mudanzas group together and a ship sails 2-3 times a week.
Two weeks delivery this time of year... slow season
