I understand that it is quite a process involved in getting legal residencia status in the Dominican Republic and that some people attempt to do it themselves and most use an abagado or a business that specializes in obtaining residencia for clients. I was curious as to the average total costs if you use an abagado or otherwise immigration specialist to handle every thing for you...?

In fact it is not a big deal to do it yourself, but you need to write and speak basic Spanish.
