Former Sheraton. Located on the Malecon. Reasonably near the Colonial City. Modern hotel with rooms having a view of the Caribbean Sea.

It is the Beach/Water front boulevard along the coast in Santo Domingo. A very "IN" spot at night. Everyone is cruisin' up and down having fun.

It's a very nice hotel, I stayed at the Hispaniola hotel last year which is nearby and between the Melia and the Jaragua, they are chic hotels, you won't be disappointed. And the Malecon is a nice place for a stroll at night.
