The mystery of Time

People forgive me, since this is my cumpleano I'm kind of in a reflective mood
and I'm wondering all day about what this thing 'time' is all about.
Here are some thoughts I came up with:

First of all it is incorruptable (unlike some governments)
rich or poor people if they don't die young they get old and die anyway.

Second where do we really live?
Can't be the present because as soon
as we try to be aware of the present moment its already in the past.
Can't obviously be the future either.
So it must be the past??

Looks to me like time breezes thru everything around us including
ourselves and in question are past resent and future.

Einstein did find out some interesting features of time. For instance
that a strong gravitational field will slow it down relative to a weaker
gravitational environment.
So theoretical one could find oneself a black hole move near it, have a
Presidente, come back and visit all former contemporaries in the grave
yard. Not an option either.

Well I keep thinking about this some more. If any of you AZB,TW,CCCCCC
Mondongo even Robert have a hint let me know.

Oh Well! Here it goes!
There is a fatal flaw in your Presidente Theory! If one was to approach a Black hole the gravitational pull would stretch you out like a spagetti! That is if you can prevent yourself from being sucked into the Black hole and crushed into nothingness!
When I think of time I ponder the fact that our existence on this planet is such a miniscule piece of time that it is, in reality, almost insignificant.
Hmmmmmm.......Damn! I need a drink!

how do you know blue is blue? Sure we can measure certain properties such wavelength and frequency...and we could all thus agree when "blue" light is present...but despite the fact that we could accurately identify this phenomenon called "blue" ..... does my eyesight and my brain interpret these signals the same as your brain?....maybe if we were both to see this narrowband radiation (blue)..maybe you would interpret it as what you call blue....but I would interpret it as what you call green...no one will ever know...basically, given the same stimuli, the picture that our brains paint would be totally different....therefore, given that it might be nearly impossible to agree on what colors our brains are "seeing", I am pleasantly flabbergasted that this humanoid dominated earth has not imploded yet!!!

conspiricy theorists... my arrssssss. If the plane was not the cause of the damage to the Pentagon as the French theorize, then...... where is Flight 77? Still in a holding pattern in the Twilight Zone?

I like the discussion on the Physics and quantum Mechanics and Presidente better. My question is, if you leave a cold Presidente and your friends on the wall at the Malecon in Sto Dom and go on a space flight faster than the speed of light for one year in your spaceflight time will you find the cold Presidente and your friends there when you return? Happy birthday.

As one the ol' ones around here I could talk a lot about time and all that stuff but you have to undestand I'm a Villa Juana suvivor.

I used to celebrate those days playing Russian ruoulette with a bottle of cheap Bermudez. So all I have left is a couple of brain cells that I have to keep nursing in order to remember my own name.

I stopped celebrating Cumple Anos a long time ago. The last time I sent out invitations some people had the wrong idea and I had to run like hell. I still have nightmares about it. Looks like they were after my Black Hole or something of that sort.

Have a Happy Birthday and exercise extreme caution if you decide to go for the Cumple Anos.

Well, Science does not seem to fly here and
philosophy even less although I could'nt
think of a more intriguing thing in the
whole universe than a black hole.

Soooo back to earth, better jet right to
the D.R. and the next question:
Do women there (the sexy ones) like
men of intelligence or is it advisible to
hide this condition?

my question if we aproach a blck hole time slows as we approach now when we enter does it stop if it does than nothing would happen to us since time would be motionless.. humm intresting thoughts as time travel always is. Is it a dimension as some have thought of just a state of mind I have found that the older you get time seems to speed up based on the fact that you have existed on the planet longer so a day has less menaing time wise .. Oh well who lnows.......
