Mami will be proud that his university degree in "Ladroning" has paid off nicely. From what i hear that program has the most graduates here.

He doesn't seem to be a joven. Makes you wonder where he honed his skills. Workshop 101 perhaps?

I love the ensemble, or shall we say, flow. It's very practical for a tropical climate.

Looks like all he did was break the locks(?).

i think so too. it's not the iron door/bars as such, it's cheap padlocks. miesposo look lock picking as a hobby a while ago and can open most of the regular "cerraduras" using his tools.

It was not exactly a lockpick he was using.. ;)

But yep, looks like breaking the locks.

That security camera is too high. If it had been a couple of feet lower, it would've gotten a better view of his face. This is a common problem.

Just a warning ..at present there is a professional gang in the Zona Colonial-Gazcue area going onto the rooves of buildings and breaking the iron security cages of air conditioners and then taking the machines ..Last week it was in the San Miguel area of Zona Colonial and before that the other side of Conde .. I suggest that if you are in the area you may take a look at look at your roof to make sure some work has not begun .

My only surprise is that it took him as long as it did. They do the iron bars on windows by simply prying a few holds apart from the concrete, then one pulls back the remaining part enough for another to slip through. It happened to a friend in the capitol. I had to hold him back from killing the security guard who he accused of being in on it which was very possible since it was first floor in a small apartment building and was sure to create some noise.

A professional alright. Totally unfazed by the sirens in the background.

I made a little gadget when I was young that you connected to a car battery and then could connect to any iron fence or iron door, it would give you a nice little shock, enough to scare the pants off you but harmless (they sometime use it to control cattle), never put it on anything because I was told the thieves could take me to court for maltreatment... !!!!

That's what is needed on this door.
