Many church groups go to Hotel Costa Larimar. It is MotoCaribe's SW home. Huge improvements in the 9 years we've been a guest. Modestly priced.

I do not think Casa Bonita would be at all suitable for a church group..it only has 12 rooms, is heavily booked and has no meeting room. But it is very nice.Regretably, I have no alternative.

Just took a look at Casa Bonita, very nice. Would not mind spending a nice long weekend there. Looks like a possible future trip may be in order...

I spent a few days at Playazul and enjoyed it.The grounds are pretty and the pool is a nice place to hang out.
It is fairly unsophisticated but food and staff were great.
Not really a lounge about place on the small beach area if that's your thing but excellent value for money.

Make sure you pack the insect repellent when you visit that part of the world.
They don't seem to feed the bugs often so new blood is highly welcome it seems...
