I have a geek friend in Santiago that has an 27" iMac Retina 5K with external HD in excellent condition for sale for RD$100,000.

I gave up on the idea of obtaining a used one. I decided to opt for a new one instead.....that way one can be sure not to inherit any problems. Would anyone know where in Santo Domingo one can buy a new APPLE MAC BOOK PRO>
RETINA SCREEN/Display at a tolerable price?

Took mine to Bluemall, One Click, recently for a routine check: very knowledgeable staff. Serviced my MacBook Pro at no cost. Don't know the prices for their Apple offerings but it is Blue Mall.

That MBP 2015 for just 30,000 pesos must have only 8gb RAM and a small hard drive, or otherwise not be in very good shape.  I wouldn't sell my 2014 MBP retina 13" with 16gb RAM and a 500gb SSD, for that kind of money.  

Make sure to upgrade memory before you buy your MBP.  Just a suggestion.
