I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. I don't see at all how Dolores is going out of her way to defend Hipolito Mejia at all. If anything according to the timeline (I'm assuming she researched) she is simply stating the facts. At least this is what I see.

Which facts? She was totally incorrect with regard to Ramfis ineligibility to run for president and has not provided any solid proof to demonstrate Leonel's U.S. citizenship claims are false; with regard to Hipolito's citizenship, I agree it's not very clear but I am honest about my inclination to believe that he does have it as I find him to be very sleazy and it is not uncommon for heads of state to have more than one citizenship to facilitate an exile should it be necessary, among other "benefits".

Additionally, for anyone questioning my defense of Ramfis candidacy, let me make myself very clear: I believe he is the best choice right now to deal with the biggest threats facing the DR right now in terms of corruption, threats to our sovereignty, culture, existence as a people, etc., and Iappreciate his U.S. upbringing and perspectives as well as his being a fresh face to the usual 'palate' of politicos that have been the M.O. in the DR since the days of after his grandfather's regime.

Hipólito Mejía recognizes the fundamentals behind Ramfis Domínguez Trujillo's popularity. In essence, its the fault of Dominican politicians for the way they have governed the country and he includes himself in that. He said that Dominican politicians are a national frustration.

Israel possibly supports Ramfis Domínguez Trujillo, because his father saved thousands of Jews during the Holocaust. At least, that's what this is lead to believe in this Jewish dinner.

Will Israel offer help, in case Ramfis becomes president, in border controls?

Roughly a week ago Ramfis was interviewed in a staple of Dominican morning programs, Telematutino 11.

I read today he would attain 5%-7% of the total vote. The election is 5/16/2020 so much can happen.

His Uncle Ramfis dated Kim Nowak and was known to bestow luxury cars, furs and diamonds on Hollywood women he pursued.

A popular bumper sticker during these times read "My Mercedes was not given to me by Ramfis."

Do you remember all the people, including Obama, who said Trump would never be president? Here's the link just in case you forgot(this just never gets old):

And why are people always trying to judge Ramfis by what his father or uncle did? Maybe it's becaue they have no better argument(?).

I really enjoy watching the discussions about Ramfis on DR tv. This one took place on May 30 of this year, on the anniversary of the killing of Rafael Leónidas Trujillo.

The fun (at least for me) starts from the very beginning of the video. Dany Alcántara (black guy) starts by saying that Ramfis said something interesting and Óscar Medina (white guy) immediately says 'it can't be interesting, anything that is said by Ramfis can't be interesting.' Then Dany reiterates by saying 'I think it was interesting' and Óscar responds 'ok, you liked it, that's fine; but that doesn't mean it's interesting.' LOL

That resumes (in a funny way) the division that exist in Dominican society regarding Ramfis Domínguez Trujillo.

Ramfis announces using the WhatsApp platform to communicate directly with the people and so that they can receive notifications:

Well Im Dominican and I can tell PRD - Was in Power and didnt solve any of the bigest problems we have, PLD - Was in Power and is in Power and we didnt solve any of our bigest problems yet, PRM, A lot of people there was part of PRD - (Hipolito Mejía and too many others) even Abinader win the elections still a lot people arround him that didnt solve the problems, so is a big risk that will be more of the same.

Im thinking to vote between Ramfis Trujillo or Alfonso Rodriguez. The only options for me. We are in 2018 and having same f.....ing problems that we had way back in 1986.
