Ha ha... WW, either you or I am having a senior moment. Where did you mention Isuzu MU-X in this thread?

Or was it in another thread?

Those Isuzu diesels... I gotta tell ya. A little PM and it will still be around long after you're gone.

Some Denyo Electric generators have the 3 cyl Diesel. The super silent ones are so quiet you can barely hear them.

    Glad you guys found one!

I think I have told the story of driving an '88 Isuzu Trooper from Bend, Oregon to Costa Rica and driving it there for a year trouble free in places most people could not walk.
So WW we are expecting a full review, along with mileage Pros and Cons after you have driven it enough to report.
Maybe a Frank 12 type video with the MU-X crisscrossing the island replete with some eclectic background jazz ?

I hear about the durability... and am hoping it's true.I'll get some goggles, fold down the wind screen and turn up the radio.

    How's that?

You're thinking about your Wrangler again. Do you still have the CJ6? Or did I miss something again?

The rest of you may not see or hear Mike these days - our Car concierge.
He's got his special DR1 invisible suit on again for a few weeks.

He managed to show up Monday in SD for my car swap..

The Suzuki is now in the hands of Rosa Beato at NDC Autos on SD - 809-567-7070.

I drove the MU-X back to Cabrera.
Back to Cabrera and to POP airport and back -- over 300km on a 1/4 tank of gas !!
and diesel is about 80-85 pesos less than gasoline.... Cheap driving !!

The car is smooth... like a prizefighter in drag !!

Oddly, the dash is built for right hand drive... radio volume etc is reversed.
Not so odd really - considering market - Australia, Philippines, India...

I will be installing a new radio anyway - with back up camera and the works.
Got all that at Crutchfield... great guys.

So far - Loving the vehicle... just wonderful.
Pearly white w/ black, 17" rims
