Default Lawyer recommendation to get residency

I understand the process which was already described on this site.
First start in the country of origin and then in DR within 60 days .

My question is more related to a lawyer that I can rely on and cost.
I got 2 quotes for my wife and I and the quotes are quite differentifference of couple of thousands of dollars !

Also ,noticed that lawyer asked to pay in full when the form is submitted and NOT when you get your temporary residency .

Wandering if you have any recommendation of lawyer in the Cabarete area with rough cost.

    Thank you

Fees tend to average between $1500 and $2000 USD. Jenny Familia in Media Luna Plaza is very good and does a lot of residencies.

Maria Abreu is very good - specialises in immigration, and has been used by a few people I know. She has very good relationships with all of the DR embassies and Migration in Santo Domingo. She takes half up front and the other half at the end of the process I think.

As mentioned, Jenny Familia in Cabarete.   She did mine a couple of years ago.  It was somewhere around $1500, iirc.  No complaints at all and was very helpful through the entire process. I highly recommend her.

Definitely you need a connection in the ministry....

Whether it be from family, internships whatever

I suggest the Guzman Ariza firm. The service is good, and the staff can communicate in English. Moreover, the firm adeptly handles unanticipated inconveniences.

Yes. As mentioned, she speaks English rather fluently.  She is was also a tremendous help in guiding me through the stateside process in the beginning to obtain the visa.
