Punta Cana/Hotel Royal Uvero Alto

I will be in Punta Cana in APril. Any advice on thigs to see, day trips etc. Anyone stayed at the hotel?

Also, I am a novice diver. Has anyone been diving in Punta Cana? How is it??

Any info about the DR would be greatly appreciated!!!
