The conference will discuss issues pertinent to the present and future socioeconomic conditions of Dominicans in the United States and will pay particular attention to the miss-reporting of Dominicans by the U.S. Census Bureau and its implications. The conference will bring together a group of knowledgeable and prominent scholars as well as heads of major Community Based Organizations servicing the Dominican people in the United States.
