Hello everybody,

It's a long time since I last posted here... Happy to see everything goes well...

This is a little question.. Is Licey Airport open? I have searched a bit in message archive but I'm not sure..
Is it possible to fly from NY? (I've read about Santiago Municipal, I suppose that is not Licey airport...).

Any one knows the name of the airport? I mean, like SDQ, POP, etc...

Yes it is...

Hi Beatriz. The licey airport is open. I believe direct flights from JFK are to start in June. The airport code for the airport is STI. You can do searches on the American Airlines website (www.aa.com) and get results for the whole month of July and foward.

This is so cool. I no longer have to fly to POP since I am from Santiago.

Extremely cool!!!

I just purchased my tickets - the prices are outrageous (paid over $650). I believe that there's only one flight a day departuring for JFK scheduled for now.
