Other than Costa Rico are there other locations that one can fly and vacation in that is a direct flight? If you know of some please let me know what airlines to use. I am assuming leaving from Santo Domingo

Air Century only have scheduled flights to San Juan and Haiti. Jamaica and Antigua are possible using Inter Caribbean.

If you are willing to accept a short lay over in Panama, Copa opens up South America from SDQ. Example Quito in 7 hours. It takes me 7 or more to get to St Kitts and Nevis from Santo Domingo these days via San Juan. Realistically most of the Caribbean islands are within reach via San Juan in about 7 to 8 hours using the Air Century 11am flight from La Isabella.

This airline seems to have a model to serve the Caribbean. Nothing fancy and the right sized aircraft. And great times in and out to from SJU along with JBQ as base.
