Will the DR Legislators change the constitution to allow Medina to make another Presidential run? I certainly hope not. He has had mixed results in his term. The biggest mark against him is the Odebretch scandal. This happened on his watch and it can't be disputed. That alone should give you cause for concern. Politics and corruption seem to go hand in hand. It's time to move on and let someone else lead otherwise the Dominican Gov will continue to be like a tag team match where the government is simply handed over despite an election taking place.

danino is possibly the lesser evil. who else could represent PLD? only leonel the lion, we all know the other candidates are premature foeti. PRD is already dead and tossed into the trash bin of dominican history and even if it wasn't it would be represented by crybaby vargas who is as popular and welcomed as syphilis diagnosis. from PRM the only viable candidates are hippo the horrible and abinader who is a blancmange of dominican politics. no one else even stands a chance in the presidential race.

Also take note that the 2015 Dominican Constitution impedes him for running for President. He is a US citizen. To run for President a period of 10 years needs to have passed from his no longer being a US citizen to opt for being the President of the Dominican Republic.

Leonel attempted to do a partial drain in his first term, but the real bosses of the DR straightened him out in a hurry. I would take Leonel over Danilo any day. Leonel is a crook, but Medina is a crook that wants to be a dictator.
