I would like to treat a couple of Dominican friends to their first airplane ride.

Initially I’d thought I’d buy a flight to Colombia but I’m not certain of the cost.

Are there any domestic flights in the DR?

I came across Colonial Tours, has anyone used them?

I also heard of helicopter tours in Punta Cuna but they are only 10 minutes long.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I don't have the answer, but would like to hear the responses because I too want to treat the DR Family to an airplane ride..

Dominican shuttles doesn't include POP to PUJ. A friend who is a long-term resident insists this flight exists, but also advised not to fly in any aircraft with HI (instead of N) in the tail number. Ideas?

HI is Dominican registry. The implication is a lower degree of maintenance than N-number
