Lima Peru! From the DR??

I'm living in Puerto Plata & interested in flying to Lima Peru in Aug. 2002. I read somewhere that Aero Continente Dominicana[??] flies from Santo Domingo to Lima. How freqeuntly? Non-stop? Has anyone ever flown with this airline? Has anyone ever heard of it? Dominican management? Reactions? Suggestions? Sources of information? Thank you.
