I'm currently in Santiago, and I need to rent a compact SUV for 6 days. I checked expedia and the cheapest suv is economy car rental at usd$150 with taxes.

Is it possible to find this rental cheaper if I go directly to a rental place instead of expedia or another travel site?

I was about to recommend one place which I know well, but then I did the math, you are looking an SUV which costs 25 USD / 1175 DOP (at 47) per day?

Unfortunately, you cannot even get a decent sedan from there with that price, only starting 1400-1500 DOP/day for a small SUV.
