a while ago we had a crazy welsh sankie who was stranded in DR penniless and needed help getting back home:

now there is a man from tunisia who came to DR in order to be with the true love he met online. he brought with him 8 thousand euro and as soon as the money disappeared so did the love. he now asks for help to get back home:

I know a few from Santiago that would have pumped and dumped him in a week. The few web girls I know have college degrees and drive Highlanders. The leader speaks perfect English and another German. Most of their men are from Europe and they meet up in Punta Cana. They live very well. Only know this because have know them since 2005 from family before they were involved in fleecing gringos. I do respect the way they take care of family with their extra pesos. 8K euro is little to lose.

Short story with successful ending! I know a friend, and I’ll call him “Bob” for now, who “fell in Love” with a local woman. She moved into his home, with a child. After two months Bob came home one day and was not allowed inside the house. Her boyfriend had moved in and he was told to leave. (That seems to be the “MO” around here). A few weeks later, Bob came back to his home and said he would repair the several leaks in the roof. She agreed. Bob then proceeded to remove the entire roof and left. Today Bob is back in his house with a new roof!!! True story and good advice actually!!!

i hope the successful ending part is that Bob is back in the house, the roof no longer leaks, and the woman is long gone..
