Accident on Las Americas

My employee was riding in a guagua that rear ended one that was backing up on Las Americas in front of Dario Contreras. She said many were injured and that the engine fell from one of the guaguas. This happened 30 minutes ago going West.

I hope your employee (and all others) are ok and that any injuries are minor.
I detest 99.9% of gua gua drivers.

One of my neighbors is a bus driver. A nice guy, but his understanding of rules of the road makes it hard for me to not crack a smile at times.

He was telling me last night a driver has the right of way if they're turning. So a bus that pulls out from a side street in front of you has the right of way.

Like he told me: "Everybody knows that"

She left the scene of the accident to come to work and I sent her to the hospital with headache, vomiting and a desire to sleep: concussion.

Actually the Biggest Vehicle always has the right of way in the DR... and yes , everyone does know that ... No way you would ever challenge a BUS with North American Driving "rules" . you will lose..
