New flight Warsaw - POP

Polish airline LOT will be commencing a new route WAW-POP this winter with their shiny new Boeing dream liners.

Flights start on 8th Nov until Mar 25th. Flight no LO6521. Flights alternate an 11 day schedule, flying on Thursday and Monday.

Rumours are that Czech airlines will be operating a direct route Prague-POP this winter as well. Details to follow once confirmed.

How come flying to POP will be worthwhile for these airlines while the British and German ones are pulling out?

I tried too but it may be that the airline hasn't posted the flight availability yet....

I put in the exact 11 day dates but it showed no flights.

We may be too early.

Might have even given me incentive to visit the home of my ancestors. Now that is not to be.

yeah, those first few flights are cheaper, the rest of the season runs at over 4k PLN so over 1k dollars. idiotic price given the fact that TUI sells all inclusive packages to punta cana starting at below 4k PLN.

Hey dv8, did you check the latest fares? November runs for 1999.37 zł or 463.20 € round trip. December 2399.26 zł round trip for certain dates. Looks like the closer departure day is - the cheaper the tickets get.

WAW - POP flights are back for this winter season, starting November 18, two flights weekly - on Monday and Thursday, leaving Warsaw 8-15 am, arriving POP at 2-35 PM. Return flight leaves POP at 4-35 PM, arrives in WAW at 7-30 am (+1).
