Above is the event I posted in the Santo Domingo Events thread.
I went last night and so happy I did. I have been to Hard Rock Cafe Blue Mall quite a few times to eat or watch a TV sporting event but this was my first live show.
Showtime on the tickets is 9PM but the first hour is for eating and drinking and let me tell you the crowd there sure knew how to do that. It was mostly an older crowd that can remember The Jackson Five. (myself included)
Tickets were purchased at La Sirena or can be bought online. For some reason tuboleta.com.do didn't like my American credit card so La Sirena it was.
Every third song was one of Michael Jackson's Big Hits. Of course Thriller, Billy Jean, and they did an excellent rendition of Remember the Times.
Happy 60th Birthday to Michael Jackson coming from the Hard Rock Cafe, Blue Mall, Santo Domingo........
