Good morning, A buddy got attacked last nite in a bar by his ex wife. She hit and chocked him while he just blocked her attempts.The PN came but as he is a retired Cop he talked his way out of it.
They were married here but he got a divorce in the states a couple of years ago. He is a dual US/DR citizen. He has not yet had the divorce registered here because of the cost as I had recommended.
Does any one know of the specific steps he needs to take aside from the previously mentioned registration to file a domestic violence complaint and get an order of protection?
