Trying to book my UK flights - AZS to Gatwick - I found that there NO YYZ-AZS in November until the end of the month.

October & December remain scheduled.

WestJet confirmed this after calling to ask - no explanation

POP - Gatwick still possible
All not lost !!

For those interested --

The DR to UK flight with WestJet offers the fastest connection that I found...

afternoon POP or AZS departure...
about an hour - hour & a half connection in Toronto

and off to Gatwick

Return trip is messy all ways... an overnight...
Arrive NoAmerica mid afternoon ... fly out next AM

Eurowings are starting operations into AZS this winter from DUS.

They used to sell fares from STN or LHR to POP via CGN (but their hub is moving from CGN to DUS this Autumn)

But for some reason their website is not showing any flights to AZS, or POP for that matter. But trust me, they are coming.

I have no idea how to book a ticket. Someone did tell me that these winter flights are charter only. But I find it hard to believe that all the seats are sold already.
