We are doing the turkey with all the trimmings this year. The traditional dessert is Pumpkin pie but its never been that popular within our family so this year its Apple pie.

P!ssing rain here on the Great Lakes - miserable

Made all the more miserable by the U-Haul I have parked at the garage,
loading for my move back to PHL next week.

If the Edmonton Eskimos vs the Saskatchewan Roughriders counts as football then ya, football is part of it

I forgot to mention we will also be serving Almond Chocolate Cheeseball Truffles for those that do not like apple pie.

And to William, yes Warren Moon did start his career in the CFL. He played for Edmonton then went on to the Houston Oilers. He was one of the best QB's the CFL ever produced. He was very good in the NFL too.

I'll take your Warren Moon and raise it with Doug Flutie.

Deep fried turkey with apple pie for desert.

45 degrees inside the cottage when we arrived Friday night but managed to get it to 76 with the fireplace and kerosene heaters. Rained every day. Butt I was able to drink wine and rum for the first time in almost 12 months. A good time was had by all.
