I got results from a recent biopsy in the US for a squamous cell spot on my forehead.
I need MOHs surgery, but unfortunately I did not have time to schedule it in the states.
Who performs this on the North Coast (very small area), how expensive is it.
It may be cheaper for me to return to the Florida, as I have insurance that will cover it.

Here is where I went -- prompted by HB

Dra. Maria C. Yunen
Cutis Dermo-Estetica
Calle Puerto Rico (off Juan Pablo Duarte in front of the Unin Mdica)
809 581 9797

Santiago.
Google her but use a 'HotMail' e-mail not her G-Mail acct.... that cost me 2 days.

Dra Solange Reynoso is in the office too..... she did my work
Not much English

Dra Reynoso has helped MomCB several times. She does a wonderful job and has an exceptional bedside manner. 5-star!

I expect that would depend on the procedure.

As I said - She's on FaceBook.

Have a look at my thread - Medical Stuff
Should you need further treatment after MOHS...like a sentinel node biopsy...
you might be traveling back to the home country..... ditto for immuno or chemo therapy

And the cost?
Very reasonable. MomCB had several "spots" removed in her office for around RD$4500.

I would use her for my sun-damaged skin but she does not use liquid nitrogen, so she referred me to a fantastic colleague @ Coriminas who does.
