Sister of Romanian Woman Killed by Dominican Ex-Boyfriend Speaks

I don´t know if a thread was open on the murder of Andrea, the Romanian 21–year-old killed by her Dominican ex-boyfriend by throwing her from an 8th floor in a Santo Domingo hotel. I made a search and couldn´t find it, despite the tragic event took place very recently.

Anyway, her sister spoke to Doña Consuelo about the incident, how her family (apparently the family moved to DR many years ago) feels the Dominican justice system ishandling the situation, and the nature of the abusive relationship. According to the sister of the victim, her mother is still devastated. They were shocked to read about the things that characterizes the family of the ex-boyfriend, because they were always very warm and friendly to her family. They never suspected the relationship was toxic because Andrea hid what her ex-boyfriend was constantly doing to her. Apparently, the young Dominican guy has been abusive to all his girlfriends, protected by his well connected mother and family.
