The Meeting Place is, in fact, open. Due to our reduced activities last year (we underwent some renovations and a significant transformation of our library), the website has not been updated much. During our pre-season time of year, the center is open on Wednesdays...but I (Jeffrey) am available to come and open up for anyone who needs access to our library. Starting in December, when Henry and Frances will have returned to the Puerto Plata, the Meeting place will shift to its regular, full-season operations of Tuesday to Saturday. There have been many changes to the Meeting Place, principally those of transforming our modest book collection, which used to be either for sale or for the use of those who visited us, into a fairly substantial lending library. Come and visit us and see how we have become the de-facto English language library on the North Coast.
