When do the whale watching tours start? I have friends coming Dec 31 to Jan 12 and they would like to see the whales.

20 years ago the whole north and east coast was great starting in March. On the north coast? Have NOT seen a whale for over 10 years on the north coast. Might want to look at cruises to the Silver Banks tours?


Tours say the whale season starts in Jan. to March. Wrong.

They are here every year since the last 9 years to my knowledge as I've seen them often.End February through March or maybe a little later.I don't think January will be rewarding.
