Hey! I was wondering if anyone is familiar with barrel (tanque) shipping from Chicago to Puerto Plata. Everything I have heard is from new York/ new jersey/ Miami /... but I am not sure if there is something from Chicago so that I do not have to drive 11 hours to send barrels out. Any one know of anything? Please and thank you!

Look at a map and see if there is water connecting from the top of Lake Michigan to the DR.
You don’t need the barrel.
The mudanza will supply and pack it.
You need to get your things to the mudanza.
If buying... ship to him.
If using personal items... ship to him.
He does the rest.... concierge service, if you will.

This is what I did. Called an International mover and they did the rest. It's good advice.
My car, my furniture... todo ... for my house here.

That my friend, is a good price. I paid nearly double for a ten footer[emoji848]. There was 4 plus hours travel time and a little storage time in the States though.
