Should had cited a Dominican holidays song, but El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico´s holidays classic salsa is acceptable. Next year keep the theme on the correct island. lol

pasteles is what i call a fool's work. too much effort for too little reward. they are not bad but the production process is exhausting. reminds me of that wretched armenian layer cake it took me a week to make. it was a delicious lesson in patience but i am not sure i'm going to embark on that culinary journey again.

I hear you. Many people now use a pasteles machine ( grater) to cutdown on the production time although it’s still a lot of work.
