Every time I have entered the DR through the PUJ airport I have been forced to pay $10 USD per person to enter the country prior to getting my passport stamped. My last trip in NOV 2018 there was no one collecting any monies and I didn't have to pay anything. What gives?

This seems like a big change.

Did I miss any news?
