How long does it take to get from the monument to Jarabacoa? What are the road conditions in February and are they in good condition?

50 to 60 minutes and the roads are the same all year around. If it is raining in Santiago there can be water on the road in places so you have to slow down and at night there are vehicles without proper lights that you may not detect if you are driving fast so caution is advised. In general the road is in fair condition but do not, I repeat do not cut corners going up the hill to Jarabacoa, especially at the bottom.
