Ah man, so cool! Was so dedicated to his craft.. not sure if anyone can compare these days, as I think Kung Fu movies are a bit old hat.

I always have been a fan and in 1984 while visiting Seattle I wanted to go and see his grave.
Problem was I got drunk before getting into the cab and when I got back I was $200 lighter and still hadn't seen the grave. :ermm: ;)

He performed a bit at the theater of the Politecnico Femenino in Santiago, where I met him. As a recent (a year or so away) judo champion, a lot of people wanted us to spar...
Our respect for the martial Arts code of behavior did not permit any of that.

He was a really cool guy for being such a star, His art was real and he was truly powerful. It was amazing how much striking power he generated from his fairly small body. I remember it well....
