We are near the end of the season in Jarabacoa. We have a massive tree and can't give enough of them away.

When they fall it's like a small bomb going off.

How far are you from the capital?
Will you allow me to come down to pick up some?

Jarabacoa, 2.5 hrs. away. I'm not sure there are any left. Maybe next fall.

When do they begin producing? Our trees are 3 years old. No fruits nor flowers.
Our Jackfruits of the same age produce a lot. We cut the fruits off. Too young.

We are in a cooler, higher elevation.

Yeah, some smaller ones are still falling, but not the big melons when in the middle 0f season.

June through Sept is the time for growing, fruit needs time to ripe thereafter.
