Bureaucracy in the Dominican Republic
I cannot speak for other Latin American countries, but it can rival some U.S. jurisdictions at times for certain things.
From experience , Dominican bureaucracy is more or less the same as in most Latin American countries like Brazil, Chile , Argentina, etc ....
It depends on what side of the fence you find yourself at the time ...and how you go about doing things ...but the underlying theme in most Latin American countries is usually “ to our friends we allow everything, to our ‘enemies’ we just apply the laws and procedures ” ...Make of that what you will .
Again , only speaking from experience of traveling and doing business in these countries, other people’s experience may be different.
