No surprise which languages are on the list. It is easy to guess which languages are the most powerful today. It is all about money, market size, and to a certain extent geographical location etc.




If people wonder what language they want to learn this could be a factor to consider. If you speak one or two of these languages on the list in my opinion you are ahead of the game.

From the list which one(s) is (are) the easiest to learn? Number 3, 4 and 9 are Romance languages so there will be some similarities but what about the others? English is a lingua franca and I think it is a language that always will be considered if one is looking to learn a language.
