Definitely they still go to Cancun. Not only is Mexico the number 1 international destination to Americans and 6th in the world, but Mexican authorities expect 2019 to be another record busting year with the arrival of around 45 million international tourists.

"Tourism officials in Mexico revealed around 45 million international tourists are expected to visit the country in 2019."

"The predictions for 2019 indicate a 5.8 percent increase in international tourist arrivals and a 4.3 percent jump in spending. In total, tourism contributes 8.7 percent of Mexico’s gross domestic product (GDP)."

Interestingly enough, this story will most likely go away and these folks will go MIA. Sadly, the press that jumps all over it will not follow up and rectify their messaging

if it bleeds, it leads. the sheep like to turn on their tv sets and see salacious and sensational reporting. they like guns, and bombs, and mayhem, and death. this is perfect fodder. people are lapping it up, with aplomb. the first reporter who tries to introduce some sanity to the proceedings, and ask some probing questions, will be hauled into the boss's office to explain away his indiscretion..

It is not considered being snookered if the story is a money maker for the media.

    True.

They have largely morphed from the guardians of truth for the public interest, to money and agenda wh0res.

Story still has staying power as the victim has responded to the hotels claim as “victim blaming”. The police are accused of mishandling the case and losing evidence. Looks bad for the resort as they had no working security cameras. A scam has yet to be proven or uncovered (at least in the media). Top story on Yahoo in Los Angeles today.

The story is blowing over, has blown over. The only thing now the media is focusing on is the couple that passed away and the single woman who passed away as well. By the end of the month the scamsters in Delaware will be back to playing darts and drinking Bud.

Can you post the link? When I do a Google search for Tammy Lawrence the most recent news reports seem to be focusing on her demand for the $2.2 mil.
