Natura Park, Vista Sol, Be Live, and you can snag Iberostar, RIU for 1K. Late July. Hell of a deal.
Not an indicator as end of July, August, and September are peak times of hurricane watch. Every year prices drop during this time period with September usually being the cheapest of all months for airline tickets.

It is still very cheap for late July. Have priced it many times over a number of years.

Not sure where some of you are flying from, but from NYC to like SDQ, the only cheap flights are MID July..
End of July is still regular price , or HIGHER than before ..
been trying to get a deal for over a week now ,and Tuesday is usually ticket buying day .. not this time.

Look in the mirror people, if the shoe fits , its YOU... dont be a victim, so we dont have to blame you for being such a Glutton and typical ugly American on Vacation .. Stop blaming the Dominican people who work long hours at these AI's Feeding your fat faces , and then you go out on friday night and try to score some cheap blow so you can be a Rock Star with your Wife in the Bedroom ? ... it dont work like that .. cuz your Glory days are long behind you .. and if you keep doing that isht you will be just another Stat in very short time ..
Maybe this is a wake up call for those who can still be helped .. Yeagh, stay your arse off the plane, get to the Gym , lose some weight , get off the Meds u dont need to be on
( im on BP meds myself, no reason for it , just weight) , and maybe next year try again.
There are no dots to connect here , just a bunch of NOT Healthy people who are no where NEAR our Grandparents shape, Hardworking people who did not sit on their arse all day , always kept busy , and who were of the the greatest Generation and had no trouble "CRUISING" even at age 92 without a problem or hiccup ..
We are not them .. so Lets Look in the Mirror first and stop being professional Victims .

The country will receive 480 new flights in the next week

    Translation:

The president of the Board of Civil Aviation (JAC), Luis Ernesto Camilo , reported that next week 480 flights will arrive in the Dominican Republic, through the different airports, mostly from North American cities.

Camilo said that in the first five months of the year 6,681,113 passengers were mobilized in movements of entry and exit, representing an additional 341,745 and a growth of 5.39% over the same period of the previous year.

He added that in May the growth trend continued in five of the seven active international airports in the country, with the La Romana terminal at the top of the figures with 9,282 additional passengers transported, for a growth of 124.7% compared to May. 2018

Camilo said that the tourism sector continues to grow, comparing the commercial aviation sector, despite the fact that it is classified as a bad campaign that is published internationally.

The aeronautical official also said that a relative growth of 3% is anticipated in the number of passengers entering and leaving the country for the month of June 2019, in comparison with the same period of the previous year.

"Only in the month of May were 1,183,770 passengers transported in 9,588 air operations," said the president of the JAC.

He also indicated that within the top 5 of the airlines with the highest number of passengers transported, four are North American registered: Jet Blue, American Airlines, Delta Airlines and United Airlines.

The president of the JAC said that the airports sector had a very good performance during January-June 2019, registering increases in passenger movements greater than 90% at the Dr. Joaquín Balaguer International Airport (El Higüero) and 70% in the International of La Romana. The terminals of Las Americas Dr. José Francisco Peña Gomez, El Cibao and El Catey (Samaná), showed increases of 11.47%, 8.44% and 4.52%, respectively.

In this regard, he indicated that, among the flights recently approved by the Plenary of the Board of Civil Aviation of the Dominican Republic, in ordinary session, are: 21 operations to the airline Swift Air from the cities of New Orleans, Atlanta, Tampa, Baltimore, Pittsburgh and San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Punta Cana; as well as three flights, respectively, to MN Airlines and Caribbean Sun Airlines from Minneapolis and Miami.

Camilo added that flights from Saint Marteen, Curacao, Venezuela, Bolivia and Russia were approved for the months of June and July 2019 through different air operators to the main international airports in the country.

Fox News...the guys who bring on an ''expert'' on bogus liquor, telling anyone who will listen what it will do to a drinker. so, he has educated the American guys on the couch about the ill effects of the mini bars. the fact that nobody has defined the chemical composition of the alleged adulterated liquor is telling. how do we know what was in those bottles? if they were tampered with, how do we know that they were not simply watered down, the easiest, cheapest tactic?
