Sounds like they're cleaning it up from

I think the fact that Rio Verde was hit tells us that nor Illana nor the people from Puerto Plata are behind the shut downs, the orders are coming from Santo Domingo, from someone who doesn't care who Illana, Willy el Chamo, Armando, the general, or even the people behind Ahnvee are.

You are right, it is a developer/s and the central government. It's not a moral thing, it is a money thing.

Then in your 10 years of being in Sosua you haven't made one Dominican friend hahaha.

    That's pretty well true.
Not for want of trying though..

Mind you the ones I do know are not really likely to enlighten me as to their out of hours activities.

Everyone knew about Rio Verde because you could get a beer and a car wash while you drank the beer. Frankly the girls which hung around there were well past their prime, if they ever had a prime....but there are similar establishments between here and Puerto Plata, but I am not naming them...we men have to keep some places private.

"Keep your mouth shut and never rat on your friends" hahaha. (Goodfellas)

The girls that were working at Rio Verde were the ones that couldn't cut it on the strip. I wouldn't touch them if they paid me. The saying was that at Rio Verde for 1000 pesos you could get drunk, get a girl and the room, and still have money left for a pica pollo and a motoconcho to get home.

Ahnvee & Bourbon Street have the same owner. That owner is not involved in any of the large scale development projects and is definitely not a large player shaping Sosua.

The people shaping Sosua are the large scale real estate developers.
Hamid Tabibzadeh and the Russian billionaire behind Sosua Ocean Village are behind the Dream City (not Dream World) project and I doubt either of them are fans of the Ahnvee.
Boy... do YOU have the wrong person. NOT so well informed.
