Mello, a fellow that ran a well known fast food lunch business on the main highway in Cabarete for years has died. He was a hard worker and in the process of building his dream house.

He was building his new home in back of the Casino in Cabarete, where a large group of people gathered today after he died during an operation at a local hospital.

RIP.

After a period of mourning, his family plans to keep the business going. They have mouths to feed and a house to build.

RIP...., where is the exact location of his restaurant !? (perhaps the best way to pay respect is to go eat there...!)

Mello's location and it is open again

The location is on the north side of the main road in Cabarete, the same side as La Rosa Supermercado and it is the third business from La Rosa as we go from west to east (driving from the Sosua direction , La Rosa's and Mellos are on the right side.

Come to think of it, we must have had his take out chicken at least 100 times over the years.

The family has re-opened the business.
