    Default Bamboo Privacy Hedge

I am planting a privacy hedge using Bamboo Gracilis....
supposedly and excellent type for a screen

I expect to have some left over...
and am asking if anybody might be interested - Cabrera area - you'd need to truck them
    I can help there

There are suitable for pots, narrow strips - virtually mtce free once established

THese are quite tall, my bamboo..... 15-20ft
They won't get taller but will thicken out

    I'm just probing any interest....I if I don't use them all...I have 50 plants

    Price to be determined....

Does your gardening staff have a lot of free time on their hands?
    The stuff grows like topsy.
Ever see video of the incredible scaffolding made out of bamboo in the orient.?
    Amazing stuff

Study up on this type - Gracilis.... not as invasive as others... posted above
    a good choice for hedges

A friend of mine is a garden architect - sort of famous, it turns out
    He suggested it

So , if it starts, we run the mower over it.... easy , peasy

Nice to know about Gracilis bamboo. I have witnessed horror stories with invasive bamboo.

    Great choice.

We have a "hedge" of clumping palms, not sure the variety but sort of bamboo-ish, that make one helluva barrier...along with seeds and falling fronds. I'd prefer bamboo.

You get it near you.... between Altagracia and Bonao

SuperPlant... a wholesale vivero.... BIG, my driver said

The landscape man did/does a lot of Caso de Campo stuff....
    Iglesisas, de la Renta....

He worked at the nearby Aman... is how I met him
    Nice, nice guy

When I ordered at SuperPlant.... they asked what type of bamboo I wanted
Thankfully, I knew... Tipped of by my pal...

Because lots of times it can be a nightmare
